NDP Caucus sworn in

The 47 members of the NDP Caucus were sworn-in yesterday, November 13, at the BC Legislature.

Premier David Eby says the new caucus is “one of the most diverse and qualified groups” of MLAs.

He says it includes “entrepreneurs, nurses, mayors, non-profit leaders, labour leaders and more,” with experienced perspectives and fresh ideas.

Thirty-one of the 47 NDP MLAs are women, and three are Indigenous.

The two Green Party MLAs were sworn in on Tuesday and the 44 members of the BC Conservative Caucus were sworn in Tuesday evening.
