Changes coming to Columbia Valley transit system

Some changes are coming to the Columbia Valley’s transit system next month.

BC Transit officials say the updated routes will come into effect on November 4.

This will include improved service on Route 31 South Connector, Route 32 North Connector and Route 33 Invermere Local.

BC Transit says all three routes will now serve Invermere’s JA Laird Elementary School.

Routes servicing Radium Hot Springs, Windermere and Fairmont Hot Springs will also change.

However, BC Transit says the on-request service will no longer be available.

You can find the updated map here.
