The Southeast Fire Centre has put an area restriction in place around the Ravens Head wildfire east of Invermere.
Only those authorized by the BC Wildfire Service can enter the boundary.

The fire has grown to 4,702 Hectares since sparking on July 24. The cause is still under investigation.
There are a number of evacuation orders in place due to the blaze.
This includes Nipika Mountain Resort, Cross River Education and Retreat Centre, Cross River Forest Service Road and Cross River Canyon Recreation Site.
