Bucks bolstering blueline with new signing

The Cranbrook Bucks have signed 2006-born defenceman Quinn Keeler for the upcoming season.

Head coach Ryan Donald said they expect Keeler to be able to bring some offence from the blueline.

“He is able to use his feet to create time and space for himself, and also possesses good puck skills to transition the game quickly, and break pucks out efficiently,” Donald added.

“His offensive game is solid and we feel that in time he will be able to be relied upon offensively as well. Quinn is a natural leader who holds high expectations for himself and his teammates, and we look forward to adding him to our team.”

Keeler played for the U18 AAA Calgary Royals last season, where he put up 22 points through 36 games.
