Cranbrook firefighters respond to King Street house fire

Cranbrook firefighters jumped into action on Tuesday afternoon to take down a fire in a home along King Street.

Emergency crews responded after 1pm, containing the flames and working with utility providers to ensure the area is safe.

The public was asked to stay clear of the area, but traffic continued to present problems.

RCMP were called in to help divert drivers at Cobham Avenue to keep first responders safe.
