Columbia Valley RCMP seeking stolen Pontiac

Columbia Valley RCMP are asking locals to keep an eye out for a stolen Pontiac, last seen with Alberta license plate C-S-D-9-8-5-3.

Police officials said the black 2003 Grand AM was reported as stolen from Fairmont Hot Springs on June 8.

You are asked not to approach the vehicle if you see it, and instead call the Columbia Valley RCMP.

This comes as police are reminding you to lock your vehicles and remove any valuables.

Police officials said they have seen an increase in thefts from vehicles in the Columbia Valley over the last week.

You can avoid being a victim by keeping your vehicle locked and making sure any valuables are removed.
