Cranbrook announces new water ambassador

Need to know about your water in Cranbrook? Speak with the City’s new water ambassador for the year, Tanya Nadeau.

The water ambassador’s role is to help residents understand the importance of outdoor water conservation.

“I am happy to be the water ambassador for Cranbrook in 2024,” said Nadeau.

“I’m looking forward to learning about water conservation and sharing this information with the residents of the community.”

After last year’s water-related challenges and the potential of another dry summer, Nadeau said education will be a necessary part of water conservation.

“This is an important position that enables me to be part of a collective, sustainable linkage that improves the social and environmental needs of Cranbrook.”

Cranbrook is currently under Stage 2 restrictions. Residents are allowed to water for two hours between 5 a.m. and 10 a.m. or 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. two days per week.

Other restrictions and Cranbrook’s watering schedule can be found below.
