Low level helicopter flights planned for Cranbrook area

Residents between Cranbrook and Kimberley can expect to see some low-flying helicopters overhead for the next few months.

FortisBC is doing its annual inspection of its high-pressure natural gas lines to detect any issues.

Talon Helicopters will be conducting the flights during the day starting on April 26 and wrapping up by June 15.

City of Cranbrook staff said the flight time over a single area will be minimal and there will be no activity on the ground related to the flights.
