Ghostriders prepare for Teck Cup Finals

The Fernie Ghostriders keep plowing through the competition and will look to keep it up against the Revelstoke Grizzlies in the Teck Cup Finals.

The Ghostriders took out the Beaver Valley Nite Hawks in six games.

“It was a good series,” said head coach and GM Ty Valin.

“I thought we started off pretty strong in the first three games and then Beaver Valley came on strong in games four and five and our guys were able to ride out the storm and finish the series at home in Game 6.”

Valin is expecting a good fight from the Revelstoke Grizzlies.

“They’re a good hockey team and they play a very physical style of game and their rink is loud like our is,” he added.
“It will be a good series overall.”
Coden Fournier currently leads the team in points this postseason.
He’s tallied six goals and eight assists in 17 games.
