Cranbrook and Kimberley Search and Rescue crews recovered an injured skier at South Star Recreation over the weekend.
SAR officials said they responded to the area Sunday afternoon.
“After initial treatment, the skier was transported to the parking lot using Kimberley SAR snowmobiles and handed over to the BCEHS ambulance,” said SAR officials.
The skier was taken to the hospital for further treatment.
