Elk Valley RCMP is searching for a suspect that stole two bottles of rum from a Sparwood liquor store over the weekend.
Around 3:00 pm on Saturday afternoon, RCMP said a man entered the Silver Fox Liquor Store in Sparwood and walked out with two bottles of Kraken Black Spiced Rum.
“The man was associated to a recent model dark coloured Jeep Liberty which was driven by an accomplice who was waiting in the parking lot,” said Elk Valley RCMP.
Police managed to obtain video surveillance of the theft, although the man was wearing a black balaclava to cover his face. RCMP note that the man was wearing black gloves and had shoes with yellow laces while sporting blue jeans and a blue hoodie.
