The Kootenay International Junior Hockey League features two matchups on Tuesday – one inside the Eddie Mountain Division.
The Golen Rockets are slated to travel to Creston to battle the Thunder Cats at Johhny Bucyk Arena.
Golden just played their first batch of games in Cranbrook this past weekend, losing 6-3 to the Nelson Leafs at Cranbrook Memorial Arena on Friday, before falling 6-4 to the Ghostriders on Saturday in Fernie. The Rockets are hoping to rebound and shake off a three-game losing slide.
Meanwhile, the Thunder Cats entered well-rested having just one game last weekend and winning 5-2 at home over the Castlegar Rebels on Saturday. The win snapped a five-game slide for the Thunder Cats that are now in the bottom half of the Eddie Mountain Division despite their strong start to the KIJHL season.
The Rockets and Thunder Cats take to the ice at Johnny Bucyk Arena at 7:30 pm on Tuesday.
