Police in Cranbrook are on the lookout for a suspect who tried to steal a safe.
Police said a man broke into a business in the 1500 block of Cranbrook Street North in the early morning of Jan. 13.
“The suspect was able to remove the safe from the building but was unable to get it into his vehicle,” said Cst. Katie Forgeron.
“We are asking anyone who might be able to identify either the vehicle or the person to notify RCMP.”
The vehicle is a blue SUV.
