A 16-year-old boy was arrested for a suspected vehicle theft out of Wasa.
Kimberley RCMP officials said the theft was reported on Dec. 26, and updates indicated that the vehicle was heading towards Cranbrook.
Cranbrook RCMP was notified and a BC Highway Patrol Officer spotted the vehicle.
Kimberley RCMP officials said the officer pulled the vehicle over and arrested the young suspect.
Police said he is up for a future court date and faces numerous charges.
