Thursday is the last day to donate to the Turkey Drive, which aims to raise money for the Cranbrook Food Bank and Salvation Army.
Cranbrook Chamber of Commerce officials said this year’s goal is $60,000.
Dane Chasca funeral director at McPherson Funeral Services, and one of the volunteer Pluckers said support has been great so far.
“I was able to reach out to people I’ve met over the years and local contacts. Everybody has been tremendous,” said Chasca. “I thank everybody who has donated.”
Chasca encourages people to help out if they can.
“It doesn’t have to be much at all, some donations have been $30 to $40, some have been $500. The amount doesn’t matter, every little bit helps,” said Chasca.
Donations are open until midnight on Thursday, Dec. 7.
