Public hearing set for Oasis at the Dunes development

A public hearing in Cranbrook regarding a zoning bylaw amendment for the St. Mary Neighbourhood Plan will go ahead on Oct. 16.

Cranbrook city council gave first and second readings to the Official Community Plan amendment on Sept. 25.

The amendment would allow the development of single-family lots, duplexes, townhouse units and multifamily condo units within the St. Mary Neighbourhood by Shadow Mountain.

The proposed development would include 10 single-family lots, 18 duplex units, 54 multi-family townhouse units and 60 condo units.

A public hearing has been scheduled for Oct. 16 at 6 p.m. in council chambers.
