Dynamiters and Ghostriders Hope to Continue Winning Ways in KIJHL

The Kimberley Dynamiters and Fernie Ghostriders are both looking to continue their respective seven-game and five-game winning streaks this weekend in the KIJHL, as six games are on the schedule for the Eddie Mountain Division.

The only local game Friday night has the Columbia Valley Rockies hosting the Grand Forks Border Bruins at 7:30 pm from Invermere’s Eddie Mountain Memorial Arena. Columbia Valley is hoping to maintain the final playoff spot in the Eddie Mountain Division as they are just one point ahead of the Golden Rockets.

Meanwhile, the Kimberley Dynamiters and Creston Valley Thunder Cats both hit the road Friday. Kimberley is set to go head-to-head with the Beaver Valley Nitehawks in Fruitvale while the Thunder Cats are in Chase to begin their three-game road trip against the Heat.

The Dynamiters return to familiar territory on Saturday, hosting the Columbia Valley Rockies at the Kimberley Civic Centre at 7:00 pm.
