The City of Kimberley is closing the Lion’s Bridge for essential repairs.
The bridge is located on the Lion’s Trail along Mark Creek connecting Marysville to Kimberley.
Work on the bridge will begin on Sept. 25 and run for around three weeks.
City staff said alternative routes and detour signs will be in place on all entrances of the Lion’s Trail.
Work is being done to ensure the infrastructure’s longevity and user safety.
