Elkford’s 2023 Downtown Core Utilities Project is nearing completion.
District officials said this marks the end of Phase 1 of the Downtown Core Plan that was adopted in 2021.
Officials said the project is set to end on time and within its budget.
Work on Phase 1 included a number of improvements, such as:
- Repaired potholes.
- Upgrades to sewer, water and storm systems.
- Increased parking access to businesses.
- Completion of The Loop trail.
- Safer roads and crossings from traffic-calming features.
