Police in the Elk Valley are investigating a close call that almost saw a pickup and a tractor-trailer collide.
Police got a report at around 7 p.m. on Aug. 30 that a tractor-trailer hit the ditch in the 3400 block of Highway 3 near Highway 93.
Dashcam footage showed an unidentified black pick-up truck driving into the tractor-trailer’s lane.
The semi had minor damage, but fortunately, the driver and passenger were uninjured.
Police are looking to identify the black truck and driver. Anyone with dashcam footage or information is asked to contact the Elk Valley RCMP at 250-425-6233.
