The Shadow Mountain Sanitary Sewer project construction work will be lifted for the Labour Day long weekend.
Work is underway along Highway 95A and has traffic using the two southbound lanes only.
The Work will resume on Sept. 5 with the northbound lane from Wycliffe Park Road to the McPhee Bridge closed to traffic to accommodate the work.
“The Shadow Mountain Sanitary Sewer project is working to install a new force main and lift stations connecting the Shadow Mountain neighbourhood to the City’s sewage collection system,” said city staff.
“This project will permanently take the existing onsite sewer holding tank system offline.”
Once work resumes, it’s expected to wrap up by mid-September.
