Columbia Valley RCMP seeking witnesses to serious accident on Highway 93/95

Columbia Valley RCMP are looking for witnesses to a serious accident that happened along Highway 93/95 between Invermere and Radium.

Police officials said officers and Emergency Health Services responded to the scene on Friday, Aug. 18.

Investigators believe a car and motor home collides when one of the vehicles crossed the center line and collided head-on with the other.

One person was taken to the hospital in critical condition while the others were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

BC Highway Patrol has taken over the investigation.

“Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed or have dash cam of the incident to please notify them as soon as possible,” said Columbia Valley RCMP officials.
