Rockets and Dynamiters Clash in Kimberley

The Kootenay International Junior Hockey League (KIJHL) has three games on the schedule Tuesday, including one Eddie Mountain Division matchup pitting the Kimberley Dynamiters against the Golden Rockets.

Kimberley carries a six-game winning streak into Tuesday’s contest as they boast the best record in the KIJHL at 18-2-0-1.

Meanwhile, Golden is coming off back-to-back wins over the top teams in the Neil Murdoch Division, the Nelson Leafs and the Beaver Valley Nitehawks. The Rockets are looking to climb out of the cellar of the Eddie Mountain Division and surpass the Columbia Valley Rockies for the final playoff spot in the division.

Tuesday marks the third meeting between the Dynamiters and the Rockets this season, as Kimberley currently leads the regular season series 2-0. The Dynamiters defeated Golden 4-1 back on October 8th before a 4-3 victory on November 16th.

The two clubs hit the ice at the Kimberley Civic Centre at 7:00 pm.
