Moir Park has reopened to the public after it was used to accommodate the BC Wildfire Service.
Activities at the park will resume immediately.
Crews were staying at the park while battling the St. Mary River fire.
The fire is now 4,640 hectares but is considered held and most of the evacuation alerts and orders have been rescinded.
Both the City of Cranbrook and the BC Wildfire Service want to thank residents for their understanding while Moir Park was closed.
