Update: Power is back on, however, it may still be impacting a few customers along Cobham Avenue.
Original: BC Hydro crews are investigating a large power outage affecting over 3,000 customers in the Cranbrook and Wycliffe areas.
The outage areas are North-East of Highway 3/95, West of Van Horne Street, South of HWY 95A and West of Mission Road.
Power went off at approximately 1:45 p.m. and was caused by a downed wire.
There is no word yet on when it will be restored.
