Construction along Cranbrook’s 4th Street North will extend west towards the intersection of Kootenay Street North and 4th Street North.
Coty officials said this will impact traffic along Kootenay Street North.
Construction on the storm and sanitary services will begin Tuesday morning at 7.
“Kootenay Street North, at its intersection with 4th Street North, will be reduced to single-lane alternating traffic for the proposed 2-day duration of the work,” said city officials.
Cranbrook staff expect the work to be finished by Wednesday.
“Every effort will be made to return Kootenay Street North to regular traffic flow as soon as possible,” said city officials. “We appreciate the patience and understanding of everyone impacted by this traffic alteration.”
