Kimberley RCMP make arrest after report of assault near Bootleg Gap

A 37-year-old man is facing several criminal charges after an alleged assault near the Bootleg Golf course in Marysville.

Police were called out yesterday after a call about an assault in a vehicle near the course.

After several hours and help from the Cranbrook Police Dog Section, the man was found and arrested without incident.

Police said he has been released to appear in court at a later date.
