Byram’s contract expiring July 1

Cranbrook’s Bowen Byram will be getting a new contract this offseason as his current contract expires July 1.

Back in 202, Byram signed a three-year, $10,275,000 contract.

He will be a restricted free agent, so he can only sign with the Colorado Avalanche unless they choose not to renew his contract.

Since coming to the league, he’s put up 15 goals and 28 assists in 91 career regular-season games.

He’s also tallied 12 points in 27 playoff games.

The Avalanche have 11 expiring contracts.
