Due to recent rainfall and warm weather, the Upper Columbia region has been upgraded to a flood watch.
Areas in our region include the Canal Flats, Invermere, Radium and Golden areas.
Residents are asked to avoid riverbanks and to be extra cautious around bodies of water.
The East Kootenay region is still under a High Streamflow Advisory.
