A section of the Rails to Trails between Cranbrook and Kimberley will be closed on Saturday and Sunday for brush thinning.
The work is to improve sightlines and reduce the risk of wildfires.
Phase 1 of the project will focus on on the section of trail from the train bridge over the St. Mary River through to the Wycliffe Park Road parking lot.
A detour will be in place along Wycliffe Park Road while the work is underway.
