Kimberley holding public works open house

The City of Kimberley is showing residents what public works does in an open house on May 24.

The open house will showcase some of the duties of public works.

It will be held in Kimberley’s public works yard at 250 Knighton Road.

It will run from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The city will also be hosting tours of the Mark Creek Dam that day. You will have to make a reservation for the tour by calling 250-427-9660.

A free BBQ lunch will be available starting at 11 a.m.
