Cranbrook RCMP investigating possible mischief case

Police in Cranbrook are investigating an act of mischief after multiple reports of a smelly substance being thrown on local pickleball courts.

The latest call came today (May 10) from pickleballers playing on the Victoria Avenue courts.

Police said there have been multiple incidents over the past couple of weeks where players showed up to the courts and noticed a liquid substance on the court surface.

The substance is described as smelling like sewage.
