Kimberley residents can expect a 3.9 per cent tax rate increase as the city’s five-year financial plan and tax rates bylaw was approved by council.
The plan was approved during a special budget meeting on Monday.
The financial plan totes just over $17 million in capital projects including the new wastewater treatment plant, worth about $95.2 million over a three-year span.
Tax notifications are expected to be sent out in the next few weeks.
