Elk Valley RCMP is looking into an incident of theft and vandalism that happened in Sparwood over the weekend.
Police said officers attended the scene of a break-and-enter along the 1200 block of Matevic Road just after 2 p.m. on Saturday
“The complainant reports two unknown males had been seen in their yard and some items had been vandalized and some stolen,” said Elk Valley RCMP.
The stolen items are mostly related to vehicles, such as an axle.
Police said witnesses saw a pair of men were on the property in the days before the theft.
Police are continuing to look into the incident, and ask any witnesses to come forward.
