A high streamflow advisory has been put in place for our region due to the recent warm weather.
The advisory includes Cranbrook, Kimberley and all of the Elk Valley, but does not include Invermere or Radium.
BC River Forecast Centre officials said the warm weather is causing water levels to rise quickly.
There is no major flooding expected at this time, but flooding is possible in low-lying areas.
