Cranbrook and Kimberley community cleanups start this weekend

Community cleanups are being held to help keep Kimberley and Cranbrook looking nice.

There are two ways to help out. On Saturday people can meet at the Canadian Tire parking lot in Cranbrook or the Kimberley Civic Centre and start canvassing from there.

Garbage bags and gloves will be provided and you are asked to arrive by 10 a.m. and return with collected garbage by 2 p.m.

From Monday to Friday next week there will be designated areas to clean up that you can sign up for.

A registration link can be found here to choose an area.

People are asked to dress for the weather and bring lots of water.
