Byram point-per-game through first two playoff matches

Cranbrook’s Bowen Byram has had a strong start to the playoffs and is tied for the team lead in playoff points.

Byram had an assist in both games so far. In last night’s game, his helper led the team out of a 2-0 deficit.

The Avalanche lost the first game of the series against the Seattle Kraken.

They went down 2-0 in the first period of Game 2 before Byram and Cale Makar assisted Artturi Lehkonen to cut the lead in half.

The Avalanche tied the game later in the second period and got the game-winning goal in the third.

The series is tied 1-1 and Game 3 is on Saturday.
