It’s no longer recommended that you should boil Fernie’s water before drinking it.
The city has rescinded the water quality advisory as it’s considered “good” at the Fairy Creek source.
City staff said they’re continuing to monitor and test elevated selenium levels at the James White Wells.
They will continue using the Fairy Creek supply.
