The Kootenay International Hockey League is giving out their annual league bursaries with three players from each division getting the funds.
This year’s recipients were Jordan Lario (Golden Rockets), Ethan MacDuff (Fernie Ghostriders) and Cam Reid (Kimberley Dynamiters).
They each get $1,000 towards post-secondary studies.
MacDuff has committed to playing hockey for Southern Maine Huskies in NCAA Division III.
Reid will be continuing his education at Castleton University while studying sports and business management.
