Byram and Avs begin post season run Tuesday night

The Colorado Avalanche and Cranbrook’s Bowen Byram will look to repeat as Stanley Cup champs as they get set for their first playoff game on Tuesday against the Seattle Kraken.

The Avalanche clinched the top spot of the Central division to secure home-ice advantage.

Byram will be looking to have another strong playoff performance.

Last year he had nine assists in 20 games while arguably being the Avalanche’s most reliable blueliner when some of his teammates struggled at times.

He’s coming off a season that was cut short for him, due to an injury that kept him out for half the season.

When he was in the lineup he played well, scoring 10 goals and 14 assists in 42 games.

The puck drop for Game 1 is at 8 p.m. on Tuesday.
