Cranbrook Promotes New Director of Cranbrook Fire and Emergency Services

The City of Cranbrook has announced the promotion of Scott Driver to the position of Directory of Fire and Emergency Services, as of November 12, 2019.

The City said Driver has been with the fire department since 2004 as a firefighter. Driver then worked in fire prevention for five years before moving to Deputy Director of Operations for the past seven years.

“I am very grateful for the exceptional mentorship I have received from numerous staff and management within the City, both working and retired,” said Driver. “ I feel very lucky to work alongside the dedicated team of public servants in this city and feel fortunate to have such a dedicated team of Fire Service professionals to represent and support in our ongoing service delivery goals in the years to come.”

Driver’s efforts towards wildfire and emergency management challenges have been and will continue to be an important focus.
