An injured snowmobiler was recovered by Columbia Valley Search and Rescue on Saturday afternoon.
Columbia Valley Search and Rescue officials said the team was called out around 2:45 p.m. to bring the injured person to medical care.
The crew responded with the help of a guide from RK Heliski and Coldstream Helicopters.
The snowmobiler was found near Catamount glacier, where they were stabilized and brought to the Invermere Airport.
CVSAR said B.C. Emergency Health Services were waiting there to take the injured person for medical treatment.
