The Kimberley RCMP is warning residents of a scam going around involving gift cards.
Police say the scam involves someone sending you an email impersonating your boss.
They ask you to buy some gift cards for an event like an office party.
Once you hand over the gift card numbers the money is gone.
Police say you should always check with the actual person the email is impersonating before spending money on anything.
