Preliminary results from Invermere’s by-election show that Grant Kelly will fill the vacant seat on district council.
Polls closed on Saturday after residents cast their ballots for one of five candidates.
Grant Kelly came out on top with 140 votes, just 12 ahead of Stephanie Stevens, with 128.
The results for all candidates in the 2023 Invermere by-election are as follows:
- Grant Kelly – 140
- Stephanie Stevens – 128
- David Goldsmith – 107
- Grey Bradatsch – 100
- Juanita Violini – 32
