Multiple people have been taken to hospital after an avalanche near Panorama Mountain Resort.
The slide was triggered at 11:45 a.m.
BC Emergency Health Services has confirmed four people were taken to hospital, but they have not said the extent of the injuries.
It has been one of the worst years in B.C.’s history for avalanche deaths with nine reported earlier this season.
