A suspect is in custody after a suspected stabbing in Cranbrook on Wednesday.
RCMP officials said officers were called to the 100 block of 8th Avenue South to investigate the incident.
A victim was taken to the hospital to get treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect was arrested and remains in custody, pending a hearing before a judge.
Cranbrook RCMP is continuing to investigate the incident.
