Remembering the Kootenay Ice

Following the departure of the Kootenay Ice, MyEastKootenayNow.com has produced a special audio feature looking back on the legacy of the Kootenay Ice in Cranbrook and their final days in the region.

From the franchise’s first game and first win against the Red Deer Rebels on Friday, September 25, 1998 at the Cranbrook Memorial Arena to their final game and final win on Sunday, March 17, 2019 against the Red Deer Rebels at Western Financial Place, here’s a look back at Cranbrook’s beloved Kootenay Ice.
