The Columbia Valley RCMP says a local resort fell victim to fraud when someone was booking a room over the phone.
Police said a guest called the resort and booked a room over the phone and provided a credit card number.
The same guest called the resort back and cancelled the reservation.
They then got the money refunded to a different credit card.
The credit card company is disputing the charge as it was deemed fraudulent.
