Fernie Search and Rescue save snowmobiler in medical distress

Fernie Search and Rescue were called to help a man in medical distress.

SAR officials said they were sent to find the snowmobiler in the Rolling Hills Cabin, along Coal Creek Road on Saturday.

Two technicians responded via Ascent Helicopters to stabilize and recover the man.

He was brought to the BC Ambulance Service and Fernie Fire Rescue for treatment of a suspected cardiac emergency.
