Columbia Valley Search and Rescue will be able to buy some new equipment after raising just over $82,000 through their 2022 fundraiser.
“The board and members are extremely grateful for the community’s amazing support. A huge thank you to your generous donations throughout this campaign,” said Columbia Valley SAR officials.
The money will be used to replace a pair of response trucks.
“We have been able to replace one of our aging trucks already and continue to work on completing the funding for the second truck,” said Nancy Loraas, CVSAR Treasurer and Search Manager.
